Moving to a new city is stressful on its own, without considering the daunting task of searching for a home plus finding a Realtor you can trust. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.

When relocating, you probably won't have the luxury of looking at every house for sale. At best, you might be able to tour 20 to 25, so narrow down the list first thing with this advice:

Come into town with two lists: One should be of things you require in your new home. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, we can naturally cross it off the list.
Know your budget. If you are going to get a home loan, secure your pre-approved amount beforehand so we can eliminate homes out of your budget.
What length of a commute are you willing to make each day to your job and other activities? Traffic in the Triad area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so tell me your limits regarding drive-time, and I'll find homes based on my knowledge of drive times in the area.

I can send you my best recommendations prior to your arrival. Or you could already have some strong possibilities you could share with me culled from your own research. While virtual tours and photos are invaluable, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. I can schedule any necessary appointments and map a route. By planning ahead, we could tour 8 to 10 homes in a single day.
